Josie Mazzo Children’s Charities (JMCC) was founded in February of 2007 in memory of Josie Renae Mazzo. Josie, the life behind this tournament, lost her battle with mitochondrial disease in April of 2006, at the age of four. To honor her memory, we continue our fight to improve the lives of children and their families facing similar circumstances.
Since 2007, JMCC has raised almost $1,000,000 through our annual golf tournament and sporting clay shoot events. JMCC is made up of volunteers and all proceeds from fundraising events go directly to families with children who are ill, as well as organizations that serve thems, such as Monroe Carell, Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, Ronald McDonald House of Nashville and United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation.
Together we can make a difference! Come join us the first Friday every May as a sponsor, volunteer or golfer on the beautiful course at Greystone Golf Club in Dickson, TN.
